of Gainford and situated on the edge of Gainford Green in Teesdale
County Durham and near North Yorkshire.
Gainford benefits from a number of village shops including a post
office, butchers and grocers and also has two pubs, one located on the
opposite side of the village green.
The area is a walker’s paradise literally as soon one steps out
the front door. The river Tees is within a 100 yards providing a haven
for fishermen and ramblers alike.
